Getting it Right from the Start

We are looking for diverse families in Greater Manchester to support us with capturing video footage of their baby and their relationships and interactions with their baby. You would self film with plenty of support and guidance from the guys coordinating the project, but access to a smart phone would be required.

We want to capture footage of the sleep stages, consoling baby, playing and talking to their baby.

We really need this resource to reflect the wide and diverse families we have in Greater Manchester, so we’re encouraging all parents, and especially dads, mums, parents, co-parents and intended parents from our BAME population, lone parents, blended families and LGBTQi+ families to be involved.

We would also like to hear from families who are currently expecting a baby, and families with a baby on a neonatal unit.
