The project accepts referrals for one to one support of dads. This will be a blended offer of virtual and face to face, and will take the form of an initial telephone discussion to collect information on the current situation of the dad and then to assess the support that can be offered. This can be via on-going contact for a specific period of time and may also include advice on coping strategies, how to access mental health and other support services, as well as signposting to additional organisations and services, some of which may be local, whilst others are national.

Home Start provides early help family support, at level 2, mainly for families with a child under the age of 5 though different Home Starts have additional projects catering to different target groups.

Home Start Surrey is a consortium of the 8 Surrey Home Starts, you will need to refer to the local Home Start for the person you want to get support for. Our locations and the relevant referral forms can be found below:
